If you make up titles for stories I didn't write, I will respond with details of those non-written stories.

...So I thought this up the other day, and with prompting from newtypeshadow, I decided to post it.

Pick 5-10 songs, and list them by artist and title. Whoever chooses to respond picks a line from one of the songs (can be more if the writer chooses), and that's the writer's prompt for a story.

My songs:

(okay, I cheated) anything by Five for Fighting
"Seasons of Love" or "What You Own" from RENT
"Always by your Side" (?) ... the Sting and Sheryl Crow song
...Really, anything by Sting... except for "Desert Rose"
(okay, I cheated again) anything by Robbie Williams

...I feel like I failed at my own challenge... by not being specific. Oh well, it's a trial run!

This is a test post for my new journal, really just to check the layout settings I like. But soon I'll post the story I wrote for SSFFS' Phoenix 2006. Which demonstrates my current writing ability. -_-
